Antalya has a classic hot-summer Mediterranean climate: long, very hot summers and mild, wetter winters. The sea is swimmable from around April to November, comfortably longer than most European rivals. Peak season runs June to August, when UK, German and Russian package-holiday demand converges and daytime temperatures regularly pass 35°C; late July and August are the hottest and most expensive weeks of the year.

May, June and September into October are the shoulder seasons and generally the best value: warm, reliably dry weather with beach temperatures in the high twenties, and prices well below the July-August peak. November through March is off-season for beach tourism, too cool and wet to swim comfortably for most visitors, though the coast still attracts a smaller winter-sun and golf market drawn by mild daytime temperatures compared with the UK.
